Summary:
Hapless woodcutter Sganarelle is mistaken for a famous physician, but soon discovers he likes his new occupation! Total ignorance of medicine doesn't stop him as he diagnoses and prescribes with abandon, taking time out to become involved in another tricky bit of deception in order to join two young lovers.
